What is Juvéderm?
Juvéderm™ is a hyaluronic acid filler to add volume to areas of the face, and helps minimize the appearance of nasolabial folds or “parentheses lines” (lip lines and marionette lines around the mouth).
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar in our bodies that uses water to help add volume. There is little to no downtime with this procedure. Our highly trained nurse injectors at Illume will help you decide which type of Juvederm is best for you. Most patients achieve desired results in one treatment and results can last up to one year.

What can I expect during a treatment?
Injections take about 45 minutes. The Juvederm products contain lidocaine to minimize discomfort during the treatment. Some swelling and bruising can occur following treatment, however makeup can be applied to help disguise this. It will take about 2 weeks to see your final result, but improvement can be seen instantly!
